Lisa Milnes, BA LicAc MBAcC MAAC

I have been an acupuncturist for over 20 years, after experiencing the transformative effects of Five-Element Acupuncture for my chronic migraines. Not only did it ease my physical symptoms—it brought balance to my whole system, improving my sleep, digestion, emotions, and overall well-being. The profound impact it had on my life inspired me to retrain so I could help others experience the same benefits.

In my practice, I focus on the deep connection between mind, body, and spirit—something modern medicine often overlooks. True health isn’t just about relieving symptoms; it’s about restoring balance on every level. My aim is to support each person in finding greater harmony, resilience, and a lasting sense of well-being for a more balanced compassionate approach to wellness.

I graduated from the School of Five Element Acupuncture, London (SOFEA) in 2005 after 3 years of rigorous training in acupuncture, biomedical sciences, and clinical practice. Since then I have worked across London and the Middle East.

“Lisa is very kind, knowledgeable, intuitive acupuncturist. It is also a beautiful quiet place to receive a treatment and I was always made to feel at ease. She has been my lifesaver over the past 5 years. I would recommend her to anyone wanting a supportive and caring practitioner.” DT, Chelsea

I use ultra fine gauge Korean acupuncture needles, which aims to offer a treatment that is more comfortable and highly effective.

In my ongoing commitment to learning and growth, I have undertaken numerous advanced postgraduate training courses, including earning a qualification in mentoring-supervision under the expert guidance of Isobel Cosgrove. This has enabled me to provide peer support to fellow acupuncturists and healthcare professionals.

I am a Member of the following organisations keeping up-to-date with regular training and continuing professional development, so you can be assured of highest standards of care and expertise.

British Acupuncture Council Association of Acupuncture Clinicians Mentoring and Supervision Network

I was proud to have been a part of World Medicine, a multi-disciplinary team that travelled to Sri Lanka to help victims of the Asian Tsunami. In my time there I treated hundreds of people suffering from physical and emotional trauma.
